About Epithalon
Epithalon, also called Epitalon, is a synthetic tetrapeptide with the sequence alanine–glutamate–aspartate–glycine. It is investigated in experimental models of cellular aging and telomere-associated biology. Research examines molecular and cellular responses rather than assuming that short-peptide exposure produces a uniform effect, with findings dependent on cell type, study design and material identity.
